What “beta” means here
DAGON Studio — the desktop app for running your own AI workforce — is in active beta. That's not a marketing word; it changes what you should expect. We'd rather tell you straight than surprise you later.
What beta is
You're getting real access to a product we're still building. The core — running your own AI workforce from DAGON Studio against a hosted dagon-hive container — works today, and we ship improvements constantly. In exchange for getting in early (and at the lowest price it will ever be), you accept that some of it is unfinished.
Known limitations
We'd rather be honest up front. During beta:
- Features ship fast and can change — or break — without notice. The product you use this month may not look the same next month.
- No uptime SLA during beta. The hosted dagon-hive container may restart, lag, or have downtime while we tune it.
- Some integrations are partial or experimental, and a few are stubbed out entirely.
- You bring your own model and platform API credentials. Usage costs billed by those providers are yours, not ours.
- Documentation lags behind the product. When in doubt, ask in Discord.
- Support is best-effort through Discord — not a ticketing system with guaranteed response times.
- Backup, export, and migration tooling is still maturing. Don't treat beta as your only copy of anything critical.
What we expect from you
Expect bugs
This is live software under active development. You will hit rough edges. Reporting them is part of the deal.
Expect changes
Workflows, UI, and even pricing tiers move during beta. Founder Lifetime and your locked Beta Operator rate do not.
Expect to give feedback
Beta operators shape the roadmap. We build in the open and we listen — the loudest, clearest feedback wins.
Still in? Lock a founder spot or grab a Beta Operator seat at the current rate.
